Anika Noni Rose, an American actress and singer. Her most well-known role is her role as Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends identified her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose was the Oscar-winning actress who played Lorrell In Dreamgirls. Anika Noni (born September 6th 7th, 1972) is a songwriter as well as an American actor. The most famous role she has played is that of Tiana the Disney's first African American princess, in The Princess and the Frog (2009). The Disney Company named her a legend in 2011. Also, she has a prominent part, playing Lorrell Robinson, as Lorrell Robinson, in Dreamgirls (2007) that has been nominated to win an Academy Award. And she performs the role of LaVerne Jukebox Ganner in the Starz series Power. She has also been recognized by her stage performances such as her starring roles in Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway where the Tony Award was won for Best actress in a Musical.
